Big Hug-Futon  (200cm x 60cm x 8cm)

A portable futon bed ideal for sleep overs, camping or just lazing around on. It has a polyester filling which is made from recycled PET bottles e.g. soft drinks and water bottles – how clever is that! It has zip pockets on the headrest to store those all important bits and pieces

To comply with current flame retardant legislation, all Big Hug products are tested to the furniture & furnishings regulation *BS5852 for both outer and inner materials, and have been tested in a UKAS accredited laboratory.

Big Hug is manufactured using both virgin and recycled materials and we are constantly striving to increase the recycled content.

INNERS: Our loose bead polystyrene is manufactured in the UK from 100% recycled material, which has been manufactured without the use of CFC gases (which are harmful to the ozone layer). The Futon inner is made of 100% recycled polyester fibre made from PET bottles.

OUTER: At present the outer fabric is made from synthetic fabric with 28% recycled content made from PET recycled bottles and we are constantly looking at ways to increase this percentage whilst keeping the quality of the product.

All of our Big Hug range is 100% recyclable with a guarantee that WE will collect and recycle them for you once you have finished with them and make them into more fabulous products without wasting anything!
